The begining of movies 1886-2008

It's hard to believe how movies have developed over the last few centuries. In 1896 Thomas Edison, along with The brothers of Lyon built the cinematograph, which was the very first movie machine that photographed and projected action. The films that were made were only a few minutes long and did not tell a story. It is amazing to see how movies have evolved since then. There is nothing that Hollywood can't make happen in movies these days. "Movies are our dream factories: They are bigger than life" this is a quote form the beginning of chapter 6. Movies are our dream factories, If I can watch a movie with no distractions I could lost lost in it, it would have to be a good movie though. I love movies, I am a fanatic.
